A little common sense goes a long way.

Printed apparel and transfers last better when you keep harsh heat, bleach, and direct ironing away from the design. Use the REC care basics below unless an individual product listing gives different instructions.

PRINTED APPAREL

THE EASY ROUTINE

For REC graphic tees and other printed garments.

DO THIS
  • Turn it inside outProtect the printed surface during the wash cycle.
  • Wash in cold waterUse a normal cold-water cycle.
  • Use mild detergentKeep the wash simple and gentle.
  • Dry with lower heatHang dry when possible or tumble dry on low heat.
DON'T DO THIS
  • No bleachSkip bleach on printed apparel.
  • No direct ironDo not place an iron directly over the printed design.
  • Don't blast it with heatLow heat is the safer drying choice for the print.
REC DTF TRANSFERS

AFTER IT'S ON THE SHIRT

Garments with REC DTF transfers can be machine washed. Hang dry or tumble dry, and do not iron directly over the transfer.
